![]() I later installed Gigabyte App Center to use "Face Wizard" to change the boot logo, and the fix I posted no longer seemed to work. ![]() Either way should work.Įdit 2: (If you also have Gigabyte App Center installed) I would have assumed it'd error out for not being formatted correctly, but it doesn't display any error messages. It turns out you can get this to work with the steps above, but you can just leave "SPD_Dump.XML" completely blank instead of pasting in the quoted stub. Run RGB Fusion, and you'll see it will no longer even try to control the RAM RGB. This prevents RGB Fusion (spddump.exe) from overwriting it. Right click "SPD_Dump.XML" to get to properties, and make the file "Read Only." (You can make a backup if you want, but the "spddump.exe" executable recreates this file) You may need to run the text editor as an admin to be able to write to this file.Įrase everything except the lines quoted below. Open "C:\Program Files (x86)\GIGABYTE\RGBFusion\SPD_Dump.XML" in your favorite text editor. I've figured out a way to disable the RAM lighting control within RGB Fusion. Trident Z Lighting Control gives much more flexibility on the lighting of the RAM, but RGB Fusion "conflicts" with it to the extent that it will override the lighting settings if it launches later.
